For our GFC Beautiful Community … May you continue to grow in God's word this summer!

School's {almost} out for the summer and Beautiful Bible Study has started it's summer break. While meeting with our groups weekly will reconvene again in the fall,  and we're brewing up something special for the summer, meantime, it's imperative that we stay in God's word! The Bible gives us insight into His character, grows our relationship with Him, cultivates the fruits of the Holy Spirit in our lives, and gives us what we need for our daily living. With that in mind, we connected with a few of our Beautiful friends and asked each of them to share one of their favorite daily devotionals or Bible Reading plan and why. 1) One Minute Devotional for Couples - Indera and Dwane Cardenas, campus pastors for our GFC Ybor Campus, do this devotional together! It helps them stay connected to both God and to each other. Available for purchase here --> One Minute Devotional for Couples

2) Embraced by Lysa Terkeurst - Suzannah Garcia, wife to Stephen Garcia, GFC's United Youth Pastor, loves this devotional. 3) A FREE App that doubles as a devotional?! Download in progress! ;) Michele Laccabue, Beautiful Coordinator for our GFC Waters Campus, makes this recommendation. 5) One of our Beautiful Moms, Sheri Prescott, from GFC South Tampa says that "Prayers for the Battlefield: Staying MomStrong in the Fight for your Family and Faith" has reminded her to go to the scriptures for every mothering need. 6) Patricia Davis, Associate Campus Pastor for GFC's Temple Terrace Campus, has recently discovered an app called "Through the Word". She says, "It's a FREE app that you can download onto your phone. It's completely changed the way I read through. Right now I'm reading Romans and it's amazing - I love it!".

7) Our Beautiful Campus Coordinator at GFC Van Dyke, Pam Otto, loves a devotional titled "Prevail" by Susie Larson. Pam says, "She includes a blessing prayer at the end of each day's devotional which is so encouraging!" Buy it now! --> Prevail
